El DIF Estatal Colima y el Instituto Colimense para la Calidad, se han incorporado a los talleres de Sensibilización en Género que desarrolla el Instituto Colimense de las Mujeres como parte de la primera etapa para la implementación del MEG: 2003.
Lo anterior corresponde a los objetivos enmarcados en el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo que contribuyen a eliminar la discriminación por motivos de género y garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades para que las mujeres y hombres alcancen su pleno desarrollo y ejerzan sus derechos por igual.
